He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Ahlefeld and June Ahlefeld; and his granddaughter Halla Ahlefeld. He is survived by: his children, Anna Ahlefeld (Jarrett) and Cameron Ahlefeld (Heather); his stepchildren, Carey Cleghorn (Doug), Derek Etcheverry (Shandra) and Scott Etcheverry (Stephanie); and his grandchildren, Anthony, Lukas, Ayva, Cole, Devon, Kaibri, Caleb, Alexis and Brayden.
