He was predeceased by: his son Wayne; his parents, Vernon and Marvel; his brother Larry; his parents-in-law, Robert and Florence Currie; and his nephews, Chris Penkala and Jason Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Merle; his daughter Cheryl; and his sisters, Gail Penkala (John) and Linda Wilson (Turtleford). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends.
