He was predeceased by: his brother Blair; his sister-in-law Donna Moore; his parents, William and JoyceMoore; and his parents-in-law, Balthasar and Magdelena Unterreithmeier.

He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie; his son Carston (Shannon); his grandchildren, Kennedy (Erik Stromquist), Addison and Graydon; his son Kurt (Tracy); his granddaughter Megan (Khail Stone); his son Sheldon; his grandchildren, Kalaya (Ryne Atkinson) and Sylas; and his brother Glenn Moore. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gary may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
