He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Carlton; his parents, Stanley Carlton-Barr and Mary Carlton-Barr; his stepfather Jack Barr; his brother Arnold Carlton; and his brother-in-law Delbert Rewerts.
He is survived by: his children, Gina Hancheryk (Lindsay) and Brent Carlton (Karen); his grandsons, Jordan Carlton (Danielle), Tanner Carlton (Brooke), Tyler Hancheryk (Kaitlyn), Cole Hancheryk (Chelsea), Gavin, Kennedy Carlton, Cooper Hancheryk, Jace Carlton, Rylee Hancheryk, Luke Hancheryk and Sutton Carlton; his siblings, David Carlton (Betty Anne), Allan Carlton (Alene), Terry Carlton (Dawn) and Lillian Rewerts; and his sister-in-law Anne Carlton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
