He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Whitford and Cora Whitford; his siblings, Leion Whitford, Patsy Davidson and Joanne Suvee; his nephew Jamie Suvee; and his extended family, Dale, Ray and Harvey Horness.

He is survived by: his children, Janine and Justin Whitford; his grandson Hudson Cleary; his nieces and nephews, Serena, Samantha Davidson, Grant Davidson and Ralph Suvee; his great-nieces, Malaya and Kaliyah Habte; his aunt Vyna Fluney; and his friend Tim Bosgra.
