He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; his sons-in-law, Gordon and Alex; his parents, Yvette and Henri; and his siblings, Gerald, Roger, Marcel and Stella.

He is survived by: his children, Merv (Sandi), Sandra (Rick), Debbie, Tammy and Chrystal; his grandchildren, Corey (Jen), Danielle (Chris), Jennifer (Jace), Tanner, Derrick (Lindsay), Kyle (Jennifer), Maryann (Mike), Gordon (Brenna), Justin (Lauren), Maggie (Jordan), Devin and Alisha (Jason); and his sisters, Carmen and Suzette. He is also survived by 24 great grandchildren.
