She is survived by : her children, Ryan Lecuyer (Jen) and Angela Simpson; her granddaughters, Bailey Simpson (Nic), Cheyenne Lecuyer, Autumn Lecuyer and Piper Simpson; her sister Carol Dillabaugh (Don); and her son-in-law Shaun Simpson.

Donations in memory of Sharon can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
