He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilbur Bauer and Alma Bauer; and his parents-in-law, Max and Irma Maier. He is survived by : his wife Val; his children, Krystal Daschuk (Shawn), Jessica Bauer and T. J. Bauer (Tammy); his grandchildren, Landon, Connor, Presley, Quinn, Luke, Easton and Hudson; his siblings, Carol Kubik (John), Randy Bauer (Sandy), Judy Novak (Rodney) and Mike Bauer (Dale); and his siblings-in-law, Lambert Maier (Judy), Harold Maier (Erika), Linda Stieb (Greg), Les Maier (Sharon), Bernice Roes (Vince), Marvin Arnault (Charmaine), Alvin Maier (Shawna) and Julie Berg (Corin). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

“I would like to send my condolences o Val and the family. I have some fond memories of Terry when he and Val lived in Wainwright, Alberta. They opened their home to me when I moved there and I then started to work with Terry at Canan Cementers. I enjoyed working with Terry and appreciated his quick wit and sense of humor. We had many laughs together and spent many hours at the pool table in the local watering hole. He will always be remembered by me as a friend. Joe Theisen Grande Prairie”
