Victoria Lavay Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Victoria Lavay (Lloydminster, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 20, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Lavay and Louisa Lavay; her grandson Colton Landrie; and her brothers, Ernest Lavay and Dave Lavay.
She is survived by: her children, Georgette Schapansky, Jeffrey Landrie, Vicki McPherson, Genevieve Osborn and Lawry Salicon; her grandchildren, Zacharius Landrie-Weekusk, Curtis McPherson, Elena O'Neill, Honey Glass, Bronte Glass, Ben Glass, Gabrielle McCallum, Austin Schapansky, Brandon Schapansky, Josh Salicon and Layne Salicon; and her great grandchildren, Thomas Landrie, Aubree Ernest, Zeaya Landrie-Weekusk, Aries Landrie-Weekusk, Tristan O'Neill, Fallyn O'Neill, Piper Schapansky and Alex Salicon. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the McCaw Funeral Chapel (5101 50 St, Lloydminster, AB T9V0M2).
Donations in memory of Victoria may be made to donor's charity of choice.
