He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Johnson and Martha Johnson; and his sister Lucille Ector. He is survived by: his wife Louise Johnson; his daughters, Jo Anne Smith (Glenn), Lorna Roselle (Ken) and Gail Goulet (Paul); his grandchildren, Tyler Smith (Meghan), Jodi Smith (Christine), Jessi Roselle Shylin (Amber) and Shad Goulet (Bryan); his great grandchildren, Aidan, Alli, Evelyn, Bjorn, Ruby, Nora, Eric and Maverick; and his brother Lorne Johnson (Rosemarie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McCaw Funeral Chapel (5101 50 St, Lloydminster, AB T9V 0M2).
