He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilfred Russell and Alice Russell; his in-laws, Edwin and Armina Crocker; his siblings, Lorraine Schmidt and Bertram Russell; his brothers-in-law, Andre Dorval, Robert McDougall, Bernie Schmidt, Walter Harrison, Charles Crocker and Gary Wickson; his nephew Darren Schmidt; his niece Tracy Russell; and his great-niece Tracy Nyholt.
He is survived by : his wife Barbara Russell; his children, Lana Lane (Kevin), Tanya Robertson (Dean), Bartley Russell (Laurie), Jarrod Russell and Tami Kappel (Derek); his grandchildren, Keegan (Kaitlyn), Shae (Cade), Shelby, Drayce, Ricayla, Darby, Nevin, Charlie, Jake and Burke; his great grandchildren, Scout and Oakley; his siblings, Louise McDougall, Joyce Breti, Marlene Wickson and Dale Russell; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Harrison, Olga Crocker, Helena Crocker, Doreen Russell, Sharon Russell, Jim Crocker and Donald Breti. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Grace United Church (Lloydminster), Bissell United Church (Glaslyn) or Lloydminster Regional Health Foundation - Palliative Care.
