It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bud Ness (Lougheed, Alberta), who passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sverre Ness and Mabel Ness; his wife Myrna Schmidt; his siblings, Cliff, Lloyd, Bob, Chub and Irene; and his great grandchild Riften.
He is survived by: his sons, Dorn (Joan) and Dean (Michelle); his grandchildren, Justine, B. J. (Kelsey), Colton (Angelle), Charlynn (David) and Travis (Becky); his stepgrandchildren, Tyler (Shannan), Sherrie, Tate and Quinn; and his siblings-in-law, Gary (Marcie), Gordon (Joyce), Susan, Shirley (Roger), Eileen, Carol and Leann (Bernie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lougheed Community Hall (4921 McLeod St, Lougheed, AB T0B0B9).
