He was predeceased by : his parents, Art and Lucy; and his brothers, George, Arthur (Babe) and Doug.
He is survived by : his former life partner Lois; his sister-in-law Judy; his wife Paddi; his children, Linda Dougall (Tom), Jack McAvoy Jr. (Michele) and Cassandra McAvoy (Dylan); and his sisters-in-law, Eva, Doreen McAvoy and Vera Ward. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
