He was predeceased by : his parents, Anton Dechant and Emma Dechant; his in-laws, Mike and Olga Yasinski; his brother Hubert; his grandson Drayton Brennan; his siblings-in-law, Carl Przybylski, Mary Rose Zohar, Irene Dechant and Betty Dechant; his niece Deannine Dechant; and his nephew Anthony Walisser.
He is survived by : his wife Gloria; his daughters, Sandra Brennan (Max) and Treena Pasichnuk (Greg); his grandchildren, Tenielle Yasinski (Mike), Terrik Brennan (Halle), Ty Pasichnuk and Signy Pasichnuk; his great grandchildren, Bristol, Breck and Brandt Yasinski; his siblings, Cecilia Przybylski, Edward (Cathy) and Michael; and his in-laws, Audrey Buchinski (Henry), Pearl Walisser (Don), Barb Devost (Ron), Patricia Yasinski, Rick Yasinski (Cathy), Donna Stang (Mac), Joyce Dechant and Wally Zohar.
