It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wesley John Friesen of Manning, Alberta, born in Winkler, Manitoba, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Wesley John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wesley John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter J. Friesen and Carol Friesen; and his brother Wade. He is survived by: his wife Darleen; his stepchildren, Allen, Nathan and Suzanne; his son Ryan; his stepgranddaughter Kristen; his siblings, Wayne, Joanne and Tammy; and his sister-in-law Christine. He is also survived by his extended family and many friends.
