She was predeceased by: her son Thomas "Tom" Rathje; her parents, Raymond Cooper and Edna Cooper; and her siblings, Myrna Link, Darlene Matwe and Allen Cooper.

She is survived by: her sons, Jim Rathje (Val) and Mike Rathje (Shayna); her husband Bob Rathje; her grandchildren, Owen, Lucas, Ian, Hannah, Jack, Ryker and Emma; and her siblings, Eileen Rathje, Ivan Cooper, Vern Cooper, Ken Cooper, Adella Nielsen, Gwen Christenson, Stuart Cooper and Dorthea Holland. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
