Edith Johnston Obituary

In loving memory of Edith Johnston (Mayerthorpe, Alberta), who departed this world on January 28, 2026 at the age of 102. Edith leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Johnston; her parents, Jessie O'Neill and Charles O'Neill; and her siblings, Donald, Collin, Ishbel, Diana and Norman.

She is survived by: her children, Karen, Doug, Maxine and Debbie (Ken Kucharchuk); her grandchildren, Dustin (Coral), Candace (Mark), Bo, Gaelan (Celia), Ben (Karli) and Lucas (Tasia); her great grandchildren, Oscar, Austen and Logan; and her sister-in-law Lorene O'Neill.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Meadowview Community Hall.
