She was predeceased by: her husband John Demytruk; her sons-in-law, Henry Giroux and Winston Gour; and her parents, Emilia Viens and Wilfrid Viens of Quebec.
She is survived by: her children, Carmen Gour of Airdrie, Evelyn Giroux of Airdrie, Lionel Bizier (Kim) of Blue Ridge, Jacqueline Leighton (Jay Watson) of Whitecourt, Lise Watson (Ame) of Blue Ridge and Gerry Bizier (Jeanie) of Blue Ridge. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Whitecourt Cemetery (3604 35 St, Whitecourt, AB T7S0A2). A reception was held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Community Hall (304 2 Ave, Blue Ridge, AB T0E0B0).
