Lena Ema (Legge) Weslowski Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena Ema (Legge) Weslowski of Mayerthorpe, Alberta, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her significant other Verne Olson; her sons, Murray Gibbs, Fernie Gibbs and Larry Legge; her granddaughters, Stacey Duncan, Shelly Gibbs and Sherry Gibbs; her parents, Fred Weslowski and Anna Weslowski; and her siblings, Elsie, Leo, Paul, Victoria, Leonard and Eli.
She is survived by : her children, Bev Duncan (Al) of Hardisty Alberta, Theresa Gibbs of Edmonton Alberta, Tony Legge and Cliff Legge Edson (Lynne); and her daughters-in-law, Arlene Gibbs of Kelowna, B. C. and Diane Gibbs of Vegreville Alberta. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and1 great great granddaughter.
In Lieu of Flowers donations may be offered in Lena's name to Mayerthorpe Extended Care, Box 569, Mayerthorpe, Alberta, T0E1N0. Donations will be used to buy flowers for the Resident Garden in the spring.
