Albert Sailer Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Albert Sailer (Medicine Hat, Alberta), born in Calgary, Alberta, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Albert left this world on October 15, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Caroline; his siblings, Ray Sailer (Fern), Edwin, Clara Milbrandt (Rudolph) and Pauline Mueller (Emery); and his close friends, Louie Hofer, Ted Lindemann and Jim Knoblick.

He is survived by: his wife Rose; his daughters, Terry Frey (Dwayne), Melinda Spencer (Lawrence) and Deborah Shaw (Don); his grandchildren, Lisa Frey, Jodie Matthews (Brad), Colin Lowenberg (Courtney Bojey), Trent Shaw and Dylan Shaw; and his great grandchild Peyton Matthews. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Saamis Memorial (1 Dunmore Rd SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1A1Z5). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Temple Baptist Church (606 7th St SW, Medicine Hat, AB T1A4K8).
