He was predeceased by: his parents, Lydia Kohls and David Kohls; his brothers, Leonard Kohls (Carol) and Harvey Kohls (Joanne); and also, Henry, Leonora Muhlbeier and Janice Muhlbeier.
He is survived by: his wife Doreen Kohls of Medicine Hat; his children, Pam Sulz (Bing), Cindy Kohls (Glenn Adam) and Carey McNeill (Mike); his grandchildren, Kaley Sulz (Joel Graham), Keaton Sulz, Lorin Kohls, Jaylyn Kohls (Rob Foley), Boston McNeill (Sarah) and Clayton McNeill (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Liam Burns and Jovie Graham; his siblings, Ray Kohls (Jeanette) and Marlene McKnight (John); and his siblings-in-law, Elaine Blondeau (Fred) and Les Muhlbeier. He is also survived by two aunts; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
