She was predeceased by: her husband Edwin Kanewischer; her parents, Lydia Schuetzle and Henry Schuetzle; her son-in-law Larry Brenner; and her siblings, Arthur, Norman, Elmer, Harold, Fred, Carl, Dorothy and Ruth.
She is survived by: her children, Mildred Brenner of Medicine Hat, Brenda Weiss (Ron) of Medicine Hat and Merle Kanewischer (Sjaane) of Medicine Hat; her grandchildren, Gary Brenner (Arine), Tina Brenner (Derek Van Diest), Ross Weiss (Mellissa), Kristy Weiss, Blake Kanewischer, Kyle Kanewischer (Shawna) and Megan Allan; and her great grandchildren, Brady, Carter, Kylie, Rastyn, Madyx, Coen and Torin.
