He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Haag and Elmer Haag. He is survived by: his spouse Candi Haag of Medicine Hat; his children, Gordon Haag and Wendy Haag; his brother Gordon Haag (Bev); his nieces, Randi L'Heureux (Corey) and Kaelee Sorenson; and his close friends, Meridel Deschner (Craig) and Regan Deschner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
