He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Shoemaker and Jean Shoemaker; his spouse Shirley; his children, Leslie (Bruce Glauser), Brenda Fandrick (Dave Jonker), Dawn (Charles Lim) and Jennifer (Jay Pinnell); his grandchildren, Madeline (Alex Hill), Brayden, Robert, Jackson Glauser, Cole, Seth Fandrick, Blake, Edward Lim, Emma and Brooklyn Pinnell; his siblings, Carol (Ebe Jahn), Harry (Linda Shoemaker), Vern (Linda Shoemaker) and Brian (Kersti Shoemaker); his brother-in-law Ebe Jahn; and his sons-in-law, Dean Fandrick and Charles Lim.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Cook Southland Funeral Chapel (901 13 St SW, Medicine Hat, AB T1A4V4).
