She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Doerksen and Elizabeth Doerksen; her siblings, Elizabeth, Mary, Margaret, Katherine, Heinrich and Ben; her siblings-in-law, George, Abe, Ben and Agnes; Harold Kasper.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Zalazar (Raul) of Medicine Hat, AB, Wayne Kasper (Lisa) of Arrowwood, AB and Debra Koenen (Albert) of Argentina; her grandchildren, Anneli Voegtlin (Stephen), Randy Zalazar (Vida), Raissa Grose (Michael), Lucia Kasper, Tim Koenen (Melina), Marco Koenen (Vanessa), Lisa Koenen and Joel Koenen; her great grandchildren, Amy, Elias, Joanna, Abiel and Marie; her siblings, Helen Penner, Esther Hiebert, Henry Doerksen (Kay), David Doerksen (Carolyn) and Art Doerksen (Eleanor); and her brother-in-law John Willms (Olwen).
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Saamis Memorial (1 Dunmore Rd SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1A1Z5).
