She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Penna and Millicent Penna; and her husband Alan Stuart. She is survived by: her daughters, June Stuart, Pamela Stuart, Deborah Palalia (Stuart) and Lynne Lloyd (Stuart); her grandchildren, Martin Palalia (Tasha), Suzanne (Shane), Taylor, Lisa (Tommy) and Jeff Lloyd; her great grandchildren, Noah Taylor, Skye Taylor, Leland Palalia, Wyatt Palalia, Thomas Tingle and Lyla Tingle; and her brother Jeff Penna. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's name may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada or to the SPCA.
