He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Sulz and Jean Sulz; his brother Lorne Sulz; his parents-in-law, Wilfred and Erma Schwartz; and his siblings-in-law, Doug Heid, Curtis Schwartz and Bev Lippert (Norm).

He is survived by: his wife Claudia (Schwartz); his children, Angela Weisgerber (Robert), Jerry Sulz and Marla McDonald (Jason); his grandchildren, Danielle Hillier (Mitchell), Colton Gazdag, Casey Brackley (Izak), Kalieb Larsson, Indy, Ryden and Ripley Sulz; his children, Everleigh and Clyde McDonald; his great grandchildren, Carter, Lincoln, Remington, Odin Gazdag, Aleigha, Hayslee and Krue Hillier; and his siblings-in-law, Byron Heid (Bette), Joyce Bulbeck, Carol Maltese, Diane Mickey and Marylin Heid. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
