He was predeceased by : his wife Sheilagh Lockert; his parents, Jacob and Eleanora; his son Sean; and his daughter-in-law Suzanne.

He is survived by : his children, Pat (Tanis), Greg (Wendy) and Shannon English (Steve); his grandsons, Spencer (Alexa), Jamin (Alison), Cody (Breanna), Josh (Tori), Sean (Melissa) and Jason; his great grandchild Liam; and his sisters-in-law, Virginia Lockert, Gayle Olson and Loretta Hermary (Hugh).

“Our deepest condolences to the Lockert family. Mr. Lockert was a fondly remembered junior high school teacher and I had the great pleasure of working with his daughter years later in the same school district. A beautiful family, a wonderful man and sad news indeed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you come together to mourn the loss of your father/grandfather.”
