Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bill Wannamaker of Medicine Hat, Alberta, who passed away at the age of 87, on December 21, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd and Annie; his siblings, Dick (Valeda), Jack, June (Lou Barsness) and Mary (Joe Perkins); his granddaughter Shawnae Rose Lacasse; and his siblings-in-law, Joe (Adaline), John, Alec (Marie), Andy (Helen), Jim, George (Susan), Mary (Russel Roman) and Sally Dorn.

He is survived by: his wife Katie Rosie Wannamaker; his children, Sandra Lacasse (Jacques), Cheryl Gill (Brian) and Dan (Melissa); his grandchildren, Tyler (Taylor Bodin), Shae-Lynn (Parker Starner), Bryson, Cassey (Eidan Jonker), Reece and Hadlee; his sister Donna (late Dan Dyck); and his siblings-in-law, Bill (Margret Dorn) and Betty (late John Hertz). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant Foundation in support of St. Josephs Home; in recognition of Katie's passion for her work there.
