He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Bolger and Alice Bolger; his siblings-in-law, Joan Bolger and Bobby Dillon; his parents-in-law, John and Alice Doiron; and his siblings-in-law, Irvine Doiron and Mae Bolger.

He is survived by: his wife Glenda; his children, Lori Weisgerber (Kevin) of Medicine Hat, Darcy Bolger of Calgary, Lanny Bolger of Toronto and Julie Bolger (Trevor Lefler) of Medicine Hat; his grandchildren, Colton Weisgerber (Rebecca), Austin Weisgerber (Linnea), Dylan Lefler and Chayse Lefler; his great grandchild Reese Weisgerber; his siblings, Ronnie Bolger, Cathy Dillon of Charlottetown and Phyliss Burke (Wilf) of Halifax; and his siblings-in-law, Norma Fuchs (Glen) of Calgary, Cletus Doiron of Medicine Hat and Kent Doiron of Strathmore. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
