Claude Van Buskirk Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Claude Van Buskirk (Medicine Hat, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William Lee Van Buskirk; his stepfather Keith Middleton Erdmann; his cousin James Robert Black; and his niece Emalee Jane Van Buskirk. He is survived by: his wife Susan Elizabeth Van Buskirk; his daughters, Jessica Van Buskirk (Daniel McNeil) and Shannon Kurtz (Justin); his grandchildren, Rowdy Lee, Ethan and Brayden; his mother Donna Lee Erdmann; and his brothers, William Van Buskirk (Venyce), Richard Van Buskirk (Debbie) and Patrick Van Buskirk (Shelley). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hillcrest Church (3785 13 Ave SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1B1J2).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Lee's name may be made to Halo, 28.
