We bid farewell to Cyril Bender (Medicine Hat, Alberta), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 12, 2025 at the age of 81. Cyril touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Bender and Freda Bender; and his in-laws, Rose, Harry Becker, Pete, Eilleen Becker, Betty, Earl McKenna, George and Kay Becker.

He is survived by: his wife Maureen Bender; his grandchildren, Brennan, Megan, Andrew Cohan, Sky, Cameron and Stone; his brother Barry (Gloria); and his nephews, Jason and Colin. He is also survived by his extended family and many close friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the ALS Society in his honour.
