He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Cowan and Florence Cowan; his brother Ralph Junior; his father-in-law Mel Spackman; and his sisters-in-law, Delani Kela, Shanna Spackman and Lindzi Spackman.
He is survived by: his wife Melisa Cowan; his daughter Jerredi Hauck (Josh); his grandchildren, Iveryn and Eraley; his daughter Teigen Dobbin (Blain); his grandchildren, Aysin, Enytt and Orin; his great grandchild Grayden Cowan (Katelynn Saufert); his mother-in-law Dori Spackman; his brothers, Glenn Cowan and Roger Cowan (Cathy); his brother-in-law Devin Spackman (Shelley); and his pet Brier. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, food, or other gifts, the family is establishing the Dale Cowan Memorial Scholarship Fund to support students pursuing further education.
