With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Darby Gagnon (Medicine Hat, Alberta), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Gagnon and Ella Gagnon; Jerry and Mary Hager. He is survived by: his wife Laurie; his children, Tyler (Sophie) and Teneal (Jackson); his sister Carmen; his family, Laurie, Tyler and Teneal; and his pet Cargo.
A prayer will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Cook Southland Funeral Chapel (901 13 St SW, Medicine Hat, AB T1A4V4). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Family Parish (1451 Strachan Rd SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1B4V3).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Joseph's Home - Carmel Hospice, 156 - 3 Street N.E., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 5M1; the local Palliative Care Team in gratitude for the compassionate care Darby received.
