He was predeceased by: his father Fernando Genogaling (Celebrant). He is survived by: his wife Deanna; his son Chris (Donna); his grandchildren, Jordan and Jamieson (Darren); and his great grandchildren, Carter and Emerson.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saamis Memorial (1 Dunmore Rd SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1A1Z5).
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Doug's memory are encouraged to make a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
