Erika Baedke Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on December 11, 2021, at the age of 76, Erika Baedke of Medicine Hat, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Otto Baedke; her parents, Helena Kappel and Friedrich Kappel; and her siblings, Hugo Kappel (Lore) and Ella Fuhrman (Arnold).

She is survived by: her children, Kathy Kirschenman (Ryan) of Medicine Hat, Colleen Baedke of Edmonton and Brian Baedke (Pam) of Medicine Hat; her grandchildren, Jake (Danielle), Nadine Kirschenman, Lewis Kirschenman, Mathew Fode and Emma Baedke; her sister Lily Kappler (Willie) of Cranbrook; and her siblings-in-law, Elfrieda Lasslop of Calgary and John Baedke (Elsie) of Medicine Hat. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
