He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Wittke and Oscar Wittke; his son Bart Wittke; and his grandson Brayden Nunweiler. He is survived by: his wife Elsie Wittke of Medicine Hat; his children, Colin Wittke (Janice) of Magnolia and Jody Wittke (Eric Sackney) of Medicine Hat; his grandchildren, Tylin, Tessa, Trey Wittke, Lynae Daffy (Blair) and Amy Nunweiler (Jullian Rodriguez); and his brothers, Lorence Wittke (Diane) and Mel Wittke (Ardeth). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
