He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rose; his sons, Rodney (Conny), Dwayne (Eleanor) and Brian; his grandchildren, David (Jennifer), Tara (Clayton), Krista, Melanie, Michelle (Jason) and Shaun; his sister Annette Huisman; his siblings-in-law, Raymonde Gechter and Dennis Kletchko (Nova); his brothers, Alois (Elizabeth) and Bernhard; his daughter-in-law Debra; and his parents, Ralph Gechter and Alice Gechter. He was also cherished by six great grandchildren.
