He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Podesta and Janet Podesta; his brother-in-law Jack McCleary; his stepmother Lix; his siblings, Virgina "Tudi", Greg, Bertie and Kim; his parents-in-law, Anton Weigel and Veronica; his siblings-in-law, Pete, Gary, Ken, Kay and Josie; and his pets, Zoey and Shelby.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah (Weigel); his siblings-in-law, Mary-Ann Flug, Irene Todd (Larry), Jim Weigel (Cheryl) and Merc Weigel; his brother Ron (Stella); and his sister-in-law Colleen Podesta. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends, including his new pup.
