It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Hoffart (Medicine Hat, Alberta), born in Prelate, Saskatchewan, who passed away on January 9, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Peter Hoffart (Irene); his parent-in-law Balzar Kuhn (Mary); his sister Victoria Bischoff (Ronald); and his brothers-in-law, Donald Holmstrom and Frank Bischoff.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Kuhn of Estuary, SK.; his daughter Lisa Hoffart (Greg Hart); his grandchildren, Mitchell, Connor, Delany and Helena; his daughter Renee Kohls (Chris); his grandchildren, Brendan and Janelle; his daughter Paula Stodalka (Greg); his grandchildren, Owen and Jillian; his siblings, Richard Hoffart (Yvonne), Delores Meuchal (Edwin), Wilfred Hoffart (Dolores), Alma Burton (Arnold), Ronald Hoffart (Sharon), James Hoffart (Alice) and Karen Holmstrom; and his parents-in-law, Rose Bischoff, Marian Hindmarsh (Ian) and James Kuhn (Janet). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
If friends so desire, memorial donations in George's memory may be made to the local food bank or to the Burstall Community Hall. Relatives and friends may also choose to give the gift of life through organ or blood donation.
