He was predeceased by: his wife Regina; and his parents, Otto Eberhardt and Hulda Eberhardt. He is survived by: his children, Robert Eberhardt (Dianne, family: Katrina, Erika), Linda Moreau (Raymond, family: Thomas, Krista Aiden, Ava, Amanda Brady, Lexi, Chantel Nathan, Tyler) and Ken Eberhardt (Yvonne, family: Christopher Isabelle, Isaac, Elizabeth); and his siblings, Albert Eberhardt (Stefanie), Elvire Necker and Wallie Ganden (Ted). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
