Gordon Hawrylak Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on October 15, 2025, at the age of 80, Gordon Hawrylak (Medicine Hat, Alberta) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Gordon is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Gordon's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He is survived by: his wife Ellaine Hawrylak of Maple Creek; his children, JJ Hawrylak and BJ Hawrylak (Shawn Gibson); his grandchildren, Layne Hawrylak (Amanda), Kellie Gibson (Jay), Trey McIntyre (Rhegan) and Tony Gibson; and his great grandchildren, Hayley and McIntyre.
