He was predeceased by: his parents, Gottlieb and Linda; his son Glen; and his brothers, Roy, Bennie and Stan.

He is survived by: his wife Annie; his son Alan; his grandchildren, Trevor (Alysha) and Aimee (Conal); and his siblings, Cliff, Gladys (Jack) and Marge (Neil). He is also survived by five beautiful great-grandchildren.

His contributions to the community extended beyond the bakery, as he was also known for his gentle spirit and kind words, always ready with a thoughtful remark to brighten someone's day.
