He was predeceased by: his parents, Harm Hazelaar and Margie Hazelaar; and his siblings, Berend, Gazines, Albert, John and Fanna.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey; his children, Harold (Donna) of Invermere, B. C., Ron (Sandy) of Medicine Hat and Rhea Hewitson (Ron) of Nanaimo, B. C.; and his siblings, Rex (Lyn), Henry (Rita) and Bertha Schollaardt (Bill). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
