With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Leroy Baigent (Medicine Hat, Alberta), who passed away on July 2, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Baigent and Mary Baigent; his brothers, Donald Wayne Baigent and Ronald Baigent; his father-in-law Steve Banilevic; and his brother-in-law Brian Yamniuk.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Baigent; his children, Tracey Kornelson (Wes) and Chad Baigent (Vanessa); his grandchildren, Derrian Hallas (Shaun), Kolton Kornelson, Abby Anton (Calen), Kurtis Kornelson (Vanessa), Madison Baigent (Jaubron), Destiny Baigent (Hunter) and Tristan Baigent; his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Walker, Liam, Everly, Ollie and Benni; his mother-in-law Marian Banilevic; his sisters, Ellen Whitcroft, Pauline Yamniuk, Gladys Therens (Brian) and Janice Baigent; his siblings-in-law, Barb Jackman (Tim) and Kevin Banilevic (Carol); and his close friend Bella. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
