With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Iain McKay of Medicine Hat, Alberta, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Iain left this world on July 9, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Iain may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Iain touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his spouse Jean McKay; his parents, Grant McKay and Mildred McKay; his brothers, James and Don; and his son Brad.

He is survived by: his sons, James (Linda) and Dale; and his stepsons, Randy Gruber (Pam) and Todd Gruber (Teri). He is also survived by three grandchildren; one great-grandson.
