He was predeceased by: his father Gordon Nelson; and his brother Dwayne Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his mother Irene Nelson; his mother-in-law Isabel Edwardson; his sons, Brett and Owen (Stephanie); his siblings, Corinne Griffin (Dave), Barb Westhaver (Ken), Donavon Nelson (Dianna), Gerard Nelson (Brenda), Greg Nelson (Pam) and Phil Nelson (Jodie); and his brother-in-law Gary Edwardson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, coworkers.
