He was predeceased by : his parents, John and Hilda; and his siblings, Gary, Delmer, Iolene and Evelyn.

He is survived by : his wife Audrey; his sons, Blaine (Karen) and Brent (Sandra); his grandchildren, Ryan, Chelsea, Kaitlin, Nadine and Nikki; his stepgrandchildren, James and Tanaya; his siblings, David (Barbara), Delrose (Henry) and Linda (Arnold); and his nephew Charlee. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
