She was predeceased by: her son Rodney; her parents, Herbert Meyer and Alice Meyer; and her sister Shirley Akerstrom. She is survived by: her husband Jack Risling; her great grandchild Sherry Curtis (Henry); her siblings, Merle Meyer, Barry Meyer, Pam Meyer, Wendy Meyer and Wanda Forster; Travis Curtis, Tessa Curtis, Amanda Wallace (Patrick), William, Euphoria, Elijah, Xanthe, Robert Risling (Helena), Amelia Mackie (Joel), Isaac Risling and Isabella Risling. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to restrictions in place regarding COVID- 19 from the Chief Medical Officer of Health - funeral services are now limited to no more than 100 attendees including family, clergy and funeral home staff.
