Kay Walchuk Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kay Walchuk of Medicine Hat, Alberta, who passed away on April 17, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Gaetz and Margaret Gaetz; her husband Kenneth Walchuk; her sons, Glenn Walchuk, Garry Walchuk (Lynn) and Rodney Walchuk; her sister Lee Haussecker (Eric); and her sister-in-law Myrna Gaetz.

She is survived by: her children, Dan Walchuk (Marlene), Karen Walchuk, Viona Krause (Merle) and John Walchuk; her granddaughter Carrie Affolter (Roman); her great grandchild Amelia; her grandson Brent Walchuk (Stephanie); her great grandchild Emery; her grandchild Chris Sanders; her great grandchildren, Amara and Aries; her granddaughter Nicole Herlihy (Shane); her great grandchildren, Avey Kay and Kea; her grandchildren, Amber Stark (Phil) and Brandon Krause (Traci); her great grandchildren, Colt and Sadie Kay; her grandchildren, Tarren Campbell (Krysten) and Mariah Walchuk (Jake Phelan); her great grandchildren, Lux and Juniper; her grandchildren, Jason Walchuk (Inge Bennie) and Ryan Walchuk; and her brother James Gaetz.
